Beginning July 22, 2007, SHB 2158, chapter 135, Laws of 2007, changes the documentation requirements necessary for making tax exempt sale of motor vehicles, trailers and campers to               non- residents.

As a selling dealer, we will need the following information, at the time of sale:

1. A copy of the buyer’s currently valid out of state driver’s license (or other official picture  identification.) 

2. A copy of any one of the following documents, on which there is an out-of-state address for the buyer.

                            a….A current residential rental agreement.

                            b….A property tax statement from the current or previous year.

                            c….A utility bill, dated within the previous two months.

                            d….A state income tax return from the previous year.

                            e….A voter registration card.

                            f….A current credit report.

All purchases paid in U.S. Funds. Cash or pre-approved bankable check with bank letter of guarantee dated and payable to Heaverlo Auctions on auction date. VISA or MasterCard accepted. 5% Buyer Premium on all payments except cash or approved check. All Titled items will have a $60.00 Buyer Premium regardless of payment type.

Sales tax to be collected. Dealers and out-of-state buyers tax-exempted with proper numbers and ID.  All items sell “as is, where is” with no warranties or guarantees implied.  All sales final.  Nothing removed until paid for.  Heaverlo Auctions reserves the right to bid on behalf of the seller, lien holder, and/or pre-approved absentee buyers.  Some items are subject to a minimum bid.  Announcement made by the auctioneer at the time of the auction take precedence over printed matter.
